Charity Shop

Painting has always been a powerful source of information dissemination among mass of population. So Charity shop was conducting this activity since beginning. But in these days Charity shop has changed its strategy, it also raised fund through painting exhibition, reusable pads selling and other handmade goods along with raising awareness about sexual violence, exploitation and menstrual hygiene for X-POSE Nepal. Because, organizational sustainability has been both a tough challenge and a long-standing issue for NGOs around the world. Further, it has been realized that dependency on foreign donor support not only reduces opportunities for local resource mobilization but also impedes upon generation innovative ideas which can ensure sustainable growth of organization.

Looking at all these factors, Charity Shop had organized painting exhibitions each year from 2008- 2017 with the purpose of generating funds at the local level and to explore the opportunities to reduce the dependency on donor support for the long term organizational sustainability.
